What is a PAC?

A PAC is a group organized to promote its members' views on selected issues, usually through raising money that is contributed to the campaign funds of candidates who support the group's position. PACs may also support the passage or defeat of legislative and regulatory issues that impact the PAC's constituents.

Where does POET PAC money go?

Money that is contributed to the POET PAC is routed to a special bank account for PAC funds. The money remains in that account until it is allocated to a specific Federal candidate or issue.

Who decides which candidates receive POET PAC support?

The POET PAC has a Board of Directors that meets to determine POET's priorities and allocate the funds accordingly to help address our company and industry's most pressing issues.

How much should I contribute to POET PAC?

Participation in the POET PAC is strictly voluntary for all POET team members and stakeholders. By law, contributions are limited to $5,000 per individual per year.
